We store neither the list nor the winner, so a random pick cannot be steered by us or by the organiser. The history of earlier winners lives only until the page is reloaded.

How many lines can the list hold?

There is no limit on the number of lines: a list can hold two options or several thousand entrants. Each line is one option, and up to a thousand winners can be picked in a single press.

How do I pick several winners?

Put the number in the «Winners» field and one press picks them all. If you prefer picking one at a time, turn on no repeats: lines already picked stop coming up, and every result stays in the history.

Why is a random pick from a list considered fair?

Nobody knows the winner, not even the service: the result does not exist until the button is pressed. Two things show it — the same list gives a different name every time, and there is no registration, so no account can be favoured.

How do I randomize a list into a random order?

Press «Shuffle the whole list» under the winner count: the randomizer returns every line numbered 1, 2, 3 in a random order, so the list is shuffled in a single tap. Leave the count at 1 and the same tool picks one random name instead.

How do I add entrants from the comments under a post?

Copy the usernames from the spreadsheet the export gives you and paste them into the list — the randomizer picks the winner. If somebody commented several times, turn on no repeats so their username does not get several chances.
